    Cool GCW Zero Unboxing!

Kouen and Lasharus are back! This time, however, not for a let's play, so we're in General Gaming.

The GCW Zero is a neat little handheld, with some bloody powerful hardware inside of it. This allows for some amazing emulation capabilities, but also a huge amount of homebrew programs.
Its Linux base allows for open source programming, and things are constantly in development, from ported games to emulators to anything else.
We've already done an unboxing video, which you'll find below, and we're going to do an in-depth review soon.

I don't play my handhelds as much as I should but this one looks like a neat little device.

You kinda overdid it comparing it to the Nomad

All things must be compared to the Nomad! I think it quite possibly be the largest handheld ever made! I still it though

So how is the emulation? Did you try all sorts of emulators on it?
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

Depends on the system, on the whole very very good but a few are not so great though those are the ones that are not at the moment being actively developed. The Genesis Emulator for instance (Picodrive) runs great with only a tiny amount of flaws in a select few titles which is being worked on as I understand it. and that one does also support SegaCD and 32x. Though 32X emulation is slow at the moment the developer is more working on the Genesis emulation first. The SNES emulation is also very nice, with Yoshi's Island in game running at a nice 60fps. If you however want me to test a game on an emulator let me know

PSP is still currently the best way to play PS1 for stuff like GBA, Genesis, SNES and others GCW0 has the edge in my personal opinion as well as from what I have played (I have put many hours into the unit already)

It's also worth mentioning the Zero has a fair bit of ever growing homebrew which is worth checking out!

Sorry for the delay in replying I had been rather busy with some bits (and admittedly getting addicted to my 3DS and Zero) but feel free to ask away and I'll answer as best as I can
