I have tried everything I know, but it either says; "This is not a PSP game." or "Error loading file: file is compressed.". I really want to play MegaMan Powered Up. Please help!

If one of the users on this forum helps me I'll do something for the user in return. ( You scratch my back, I scratch yours. )

EDIT: Forgot to say, I'm using a tablet and when PPSSPP tries to install a file, meaning it accepts said file, it stays at %0

Before posting, please, read the pinned threads in this section. And don't double post, use the EDIT Post button to modify your last post if you forgot to add something.

If the file you are trying to run is compressed, extract the image file with 7zip or Winrar. Since you didn't mention what file are you trying to run it's all I can suggest.

Have you extracted the .iso file from the archive?

Whatever you do, don't rename file extensions, if you tried that. Let me guess that you have a CSO file, correct me if I am wrong.
PSP emulators are poor, but maybe you can try uncompressing the CSO if it is in fact compressed.
try PSP ISO Compressor v1.4 to convert the file from CSO to ISO.

PPSSPP is very well done and gets better with each revision .

Did you grab the Megaman Powered up off of the main site?

that is the scene release so you need to extract the split scene archive first then open the first part of the split archive then extract the iso and away you go

Could you explain split scene archives? I've never heard of them.

Unless you're talking fancy and just mean unzipped file.

99% of all PSP iso's on EP's main site are Scene group releases, "Scene" is the term used to describe releases by these groups, for more information about scene dumps go here and search,
    http://renascene.com/info/umd/356
some are bad dumps that need a patch to make the iso fixed and correct , Megaman is not one of them since it is a correct dump.
For the fix patches get them here, http://www.epforums.org/showthread.p...ene-Dump-Fixes

just check renascene to see if a release is good or bad and use the patch to correct it if you want, its a very easy process .

FYI Both Megaman games for PSP work flawlessly in PPSSPP
