I'm playing the PC version. The difficulty jump is pretty random for Rare NPCs.

Read the explanation of the battle rank. To make it really really short, you shouldn't "grind" until you've unlocked all your 18 party member slots, or your game might break. The guide will tell you how to get there without grinding.

If you need more information on why you shouldn't grind, I wrote a short paragraph about that in my review. (Ctrl+F for "Battle Rank", it's a long ass review)

The game isn't "bad", but the gameplay system is really stupid. I specially hated the very first parts where you had a total number of 3 party members but the game wouldn't let you order any of them directly.

I didn't mind that part, it made the characters feel a bit less like your personally slaves and more as individuals. Similar to how I like the fact that if the group lead dies then the team will become disorganized and start working on their own without your direct orders.

I really am enjoying the game but some boss fights are just stupid hard when I have 800hp and they hit 400(Namus Nimus ffs). I'll probably just rush the story a bit more since that's what you advice not to mention a lot of the guild quests are hard as shit.

I can't even install Windows 7 'cause drivers are missing. It keeps saying it. And I hate it. I downloaded the ISO from MS last night, gonna try putting it onto a DVD and hopefully I can eject the disc from my laptop.

There's a boss towards the end of the game that one shot kills an entire unit, and then zombifies them at the same turn. the zombified unit will then proceed to attack you, AT THE SAME TURN. FFFFFUUUU

I'll probably just rush the story a bit more since that's what you advice not to mention a lot of the guild quests are hard as shit.

Yeah pretty much. It's kinda stupid but wait until youve unlocked your character slots then go explore to your heart's content.
