You'd be amazed to learn that Texas is a pretty peaceful place, we just make big talk. Even the crazy guys are pleasant. We have this one guy who stands at the corner on some days and passes out fliers about Obama being Hitler while being surrounded by posters he made of the same subject matter, and he's entirely quiet and is polite when people decline his crazy fliers. I think he just does it so he feels like people are noticing him.

People in the south are really nice, my parents have been living in Louisiana for just over a year now, I went down there during Christmas Break and they are just really respectful of everyone.

Well, when they're in public. Her neighbors were full blown racist in private, and in my experience, it's a similar situation in Texas, the one major difference is that is seems to mostly be accidental among us. My mom has said some incredibly offensive shit before, but it's mostly garbage she soaked up while Fox News was on while she was working on something. She's gotten way better about that shit recently, but she was downright insufferable during one of the Obama elections.

I shit you not; she wanted to support Donald Trump because he was spouting crap about finding the real truth to Obama's birth certificate. People get fucking retarded when it comes to politics, and it becomes a problem because that stupidity is contagious and clouds the collective attention from real problems.
