    Question epsxe Error Loading Game

So after spending some time figuring out how to unpack my ecm files, I was very excited to try my games. I downloaded Pete's recommended video plugin with the recommended settings.

I've tried three different isos, but every time I get the same error message:

Name:	Untitled-1.jpg
Views:	962
Size:	77.0 KB
ID:	41370

Now, Pete's sound plugin that I downloaded isn't showing up as an option to configure, but I can't imagine that would make it unable to run.
I have the newest version of the emulator, roms, and plugins. I'm using a Windows 8 computer.

    Any ideas?

The opcode errors can be the plugins you have installed, missing files or the bios itself,
but try the complete package from this thread, and see if its working.

The link sends me to a site that doesn't appear to be working.

It is working at my end though, you need to confirm the captcha first before the link can be accessed.

I entered the captcha then clicked the link and it sent me to another page which did nothing, until my browser finally said that it couldn't load. I'll try it again though.

    Alright, this time it downloaded.

Now, when trying to choose my video plugin(following the instruction for which plugin I should use), I get an error message saying that "The Program can't start because WNASP132.dll is missing."

You can download epsxe v190 from the PSX Datacenter (except the bios that you have to provide yourself) and try using the configuration for the game that is posted in the game entry.

Download the WNASPI32.dll (attached below), and put it inside the ePSXe folder.

ASPI is not needed by Windows anymore that is a very old CD driver no longer used, just change the CD driver to use WNT/W2K driver instead or other CD driver other than an ASPI one

I downloaded and added that file to my folder and switched the CD driver to the WNT driver.

Now the new error message is gone but when I try to load up any of my isos, I get the original opcode error.

Same opcode error as before? Try using the settings below on your ePSXe:

    Video: Peops Soft Driver 1.18
    Sound: ePSXe SPU Core 1.9.0
    Cdrom: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K

also disable any cheats engine you have, load the ISO see if it is working or not.

Should have been asked about this before, but what are those games you have tried? Did you get them from here?

Yes, same one as before. I had all of those plugins, except I was using a more updated video driver. I just tried the Peops driver and still got the error.

I've tried Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and something called Doko demo Issho(I downloaded it just in case the other two were both corrupt). All were from here.

What file formats are they in

Note: ecm files do need to be converted as do ape files if any have those, you can find a guide for ecm and ape files over at http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?57757

I converted them to bin files using ecm tools, as unpakk iso did not seem to work.

did you rebuild the image so it was a single bin+cue file or do you still have lots of bin files and a cue file?

The above is just for games that had those ape files games that just have a ecm file thats fine as they don't have cdda track so already only have a single bin file

When I downloaded the rar file for each one, the only thing included was an ecm file. No cue files or ape files. When I used the ecm tools on it, it converted it into a bin file. So all I have for each rom, I'll use Silent Hill as an example, is "Silent Hill (E) [SLES-01514].ecm" which was then converted to "Silent Hill (E) [SLES-01514].bin".

I was curious when reading about the ecm tools and unpakk iso because they did mention ape files but I didn't have any. I download all my roms from this site so I assumed nothing would be missing. Do I need them after all?
