Problem with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (U)

Hi, a week ago i download the game for psx Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone, but i have a problem...The game starts, but when i start the story
appears a book where is explained the Harry's history... When appears the first page the game crashes!!
I ve a MacBook Air with MAC OS 10.9.2
I play with a Ps1 emulator
Please help meeee!!!

What emulator? what settings/plugins used ect, this is the sort of info we need to be able to help you.

Have you tried other plugins like PeopsXGL plugin and looking at the settings for those, if there is a software video plugin I would try that first as software mode plugins tend to be more accurate/reliable to start with

I never downloaded a plugin..Can you give me a good link?? I m Italian so i didn't speak english very well!
