First off download metal slug 4 from http://www.fc5.net/HG0103/downloads/mslug4.zip. Next download the kawaks hack from http://www.geocities.com/yansbusi/Kawaks1.44aHack.zip (Note: Copy this the url in to the address bar)
That is all you need to do!

Dr. Kupo, When I re-downloaded the mslug4 file and then just renamed it to ms4n.zip after installing the hack it worked fine without renaming the .ROM files in the zip...just thought I should let you know that it will work without renaming the .rom files to ms4n_wahtever...Thanks again Kupo!

hey, I'm getting the files now, i havent tried it yet but thanks in advanced . I know how to make kof2k1 work in kawaks, but tell me if you have another way besides the one where you rename it to kof98 on kawaks 141 because i wanna play 98 too

Just use NeoRage X to play both games. Both work prefectly and have full speed.

none of those emulators work, they dont even start up. i really want to play mslug4.

astroduck, the reason that id want it on kawaks is so i can acsess all the games, cps1, 2 and neogeo on just one emu. lol, thats cool if you're too lazy to go get the other emu. the kawaks hack doesnt work for me so im stuck playing it on neorage anyways
oh and kedfow, mslug4 works on Neorage with no extra things needed anyways, so just get that

Hey Kedfow, I'll help you out the best I can..Here is what I am running: kawaks( ohttp://kawaks.retrogames.com/)version 1.45 on windows XP, Make sure that you have the neogeo bios .zip file placed in the roms folder for kawaks..that's really important to have the bios..any other problems let me know...
