THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
I swear, more than installing everything and all the reboots, the most annoying thing about reinstalling an operating system is all the re-configuring you'll have to do. Re-installing isn't a problem. Click "next" a couple of times and move on. It's the added shit that's the issue.
To give an example: Foobar2000. I have to download and install it. Then I have to run it, choose the window style, the color scheme, the album grouping. Then I have to resize the window and the columns (I'm fucking picky). THEN, I have to download my three components (GEP, PSF Decoder, SimPlaylist). THEN, I have to swap out the default playlist with the SimPlaylist component. smfh
I think one of the only apps that I never have to configure in any way is VLC.
Had to resort to torrents.
