Not trolling at all here fwiw (rare I know). Most stores won't take them in for trade-ins anymore and they are pretty damn hard to sell.

That being said $40 to have access to a 360 is pretty awesome and it never hurts to have spare consoles and especially unreliable ones (ie PS3, 3D0, 360, Sega CD, Jaguar CD etc...)

Got this Windows 7 installation done. Went with 32bit because I don't intend to upgrade the ram any time soon, if ever at all. Currently installing stuff before I try to get laid before going out tonight.

My 7 install took all of about 20 minutes. However long 7 takes, then just long enough to run all the install programs for everything I use. I keep them in a folder in the D drive

    Efficiency.

Yeah the basic versions aren't worth much at all, last Christmas there were $49-79 deals here for new 4GB consoles. Now they sell for around $180 or a bit less, but at Christmas there was a $100 cash back deal
You don't really see the used older basic versions for sale now unless they come with a heap of games and stuff.

    Spoiler warning:

I have everything I KNOW I need installed, so I'm good. All I have to do now is install games, change settings in the apps I have installed, and enjoy my new install.
