Even I have seen Kenshin, it's like the most famous samurai show ever.

The prequel OVA was badass (the one about how he got the scars).

Both the OVAs are pretty good. The show is good too, but being older of course it durdles a bit. But nothing like DBZ, YYH, Ranma, Maison Ikkoku etc... Second season is the best imo.
