    Question Can't get cheat codes to work on ePSXe 1.9.0

    I am trying to get GameShark codes to work on ePSXe 1.9.0 I followed the steps that I found and so far they are not working.
    here is how I put in the codes, just like the guide said, or at least as far as I understood.

    file name:
    SCES_000.01.txt

    #Infinite Gil
    800D16A0 967F
    800D16A2 0098

    #Lots EXP After Battle
    800D5990 FF00
    800D5992 7EFF

    #Max EXP After Battle
    300D599D 007F
    800D599E 9896

    Which games? The GameID is SCES_000.01 which is for Ridge Racer, but the codes you put are for FF4.

    Also, try using PEC if you haven't.

    Or a better option is to download the cheat packs and extract them in the cheat folder of epsxe 1.90, you can get it in the download section of my page http://psxdatacenter.com/

    Fixed it, I did have the wrong ID, the guide I had found was not very clear, but after looking at more guides and a few cheat files I found my problem and fixed it.
