Secret of Metal Slug 3 revealed! How to make it work on WinKawaks

This is for anyone who is interrested and having a hard time like I was.

Ok, after much trial and error and renaming of files and swapping files and such, I finally figured out how to get Metal Slug 3 working on WinKawaks.

First of all I am using the ROM that has a file name of mslug3nd which is the non encrypted and decrypted version. You can find it and other versions here: http://www.inethaber.com/dosya-arama...1&dosya=mslug3 .

NEXT...as stated in the WinKawaks ROMCHANGE text file included with the emulator:
" Locate your V roms. Normally, they should be in mslug3.zip
They should be named either 256-v1.bin, 256-v2.bin, 256-v3.bin, 256-v4.bin
or mslug3_v1.rom, mslug3_v2.rom, mslug3_v3.rom, mslug3_v4.rom.
256-v1.bin, 256-v2.bin, 256-v3.bin, 256-v4.bin are the correct names :
If needed rename
mslug3_v1.rom to 256-v1.bin
mslug3_v2.rom to 256-v2.bin
mslug3_v3.rom to 256-v3.bin
mslug3_v4.rom to 256-v4.bin"

NOW this will probably not make it work yet. Why? Well thanks to a program suggested to me by another member called Rom Center (http://www.romcenter.com/) I found that there are still a few files missing from the rom I had.
They are: 256-ph1.rom and 256-ph2.rom.
These two files are found as mslug3n.zip HERE:

You will need to add these two files to your mslug3nd if it doesn't work and they are not there.

THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR MY NEORAGEX EMULATOR. I have no idea why not yet...but it just does not recognize it.

LOL!!! I knew that was coming. That is probably going to be my NEXT challenge, but until I get around to it, try the Rom Center program to check your mslug4 rom for missing files. Then search Google for the missing file itself. It might work and that will be what I try myself first.

I don't really know. I downloaded the offline version. Maybe someone else who knows about mslug4 will reply soon. I am just about to begin downloading it myself. Wish me luck!

I don't think is possible to make MS4 to work under Winkawaks... nor Kof2001... Maybe the next version does...

You can play SNK VS Capcom in psx

Don't expect those to emulate for a loooong time. Not even Street fighter 3 been emulate yet even though the iso had been out.

i dont know about three but i have alpha 3 and i can play it

Yeah Street fighter Alpha 3 had been emulated for a while since it is still a CPS2 game but SF3, SF3 double impact and SF3 Third strike are all CPS3 games. So they won't be emulated for a long time due to complicated hardware.

BTW, MVC2 is a system 11 game which is even worst to emulate...
