Default Replica PS3 Controllers good for pcsx2?

I use my 360 controller for pcsx2 but I thought I'd try to use an actual playstation controller.

Do those cheap ps3 usb controllers work properly?

You are better off getting a PS2 controller and a PS2 to PS3 or a PS2 to USB converter (the PS2 to PS3 converters are USB by the way)

The converters are dirt cheap, not so sure about the controllers, a Dual shock PSX pad will also work with those converters, that might be a cheaper option if you can find any or happen to have one still

Getting the wireless PS3 controller working has had many mixed results even with the official PS3 pads from buttons not working to getting working at all with a PC
