Mame Roms

Hey Zorlon,

You have helped me in the past so a big thanks . I have a couple of roms that aren't working, they are all posting the same thing:

qsound.bin not found (tried in romname qsound) avp, ddsom, mvsc to name a few

Except for KOF94 it loads then shuts down my MAME with a critical error

Any help would be greatly appreciated as always

I had the same problem recently you can get the file you need from here http://www.emuparadise.me/M.A.M.E._-...Q-Sound/164687. Just dump the zip file containing qsound.bin inside your roms directory and the emulator should be able to detect it for the roms that need it. I'm not sure what to tell you on KOF94 though, maybe Zorlon can help you out there.

KOF94 is not a CPS2 rom, the rest are, you just need to grab the qsound sound rom as it suggests

Q-Sound rom file it is named qsound.zip, just pop that into the roms folder

KOF94 crashes both 0.151 and 0.152 of MAMEUI

KOF94 seems to work in MAMEUI 0.150 and works in MAMEUI32 0.151 and 0.152

EDIT:- It seems having cheats enabled for that game in MameUI (the 64 bit version anyway) makes that crash, so if you really wanted to stick to the 64bit version just disable cheats (Options > Default Game Properties > Miscellaneous tab, untick Enable cheats )

Thanks guys that file fixed most of the games. I will try it again wihtout the cheats enabled Zorlon thanks.
