Plus being able to play Digital Devil Saga with No load times is awesome
Whenever I played it off of a burned disc, it always took forever to load.

I think that there's a way to transfer them over FTP. I think it was a special version of HD Loader or something. Been a while since I dicked around with PS2 modding stuff.

Open PS2 Loader, son, It's much better. And I'm pretty sure you can start over the network using OPL

That's right I totally forgot about Network loading of games. Ah well, not like I have space on my PCs HDDs either.

Still, I'll probably just stick with HD Loader. I'm stuck in my ways.

I just usually use Memorex DVDs. They're usually pretty cheap and I've never had any problems with them. Although if I could just have a 2TB HDD in my PS3 that would do me good forever probably.

I used to always use Maxells, still got a new 100 pack , burned games no longer work with them, but burned DVD video runs fine, which is odd.

Verbatims are good burnable media though

Do you have a fat PS2? If so there's a tutorial out there that explains how to adjust the laser to fix certain problems reading. Also, have you already cleaned the laser with 99% isopropyl alcohol?

lens is pretty clean, I keep it pretty much dust free, last time i tried using Alcohol on a lens it ruined it....

it reads discs just fine just that weird thing with cheaper burnable media, Burned DVD video works ( I think still) but verbatims are the only ones that will run games.
