It's a damn good game though. I gave up on AC3 after about 10 hours because the game felt like shit and was going nowhere, but this latest one held my interest all the way to the end.
I can really agree that the pacing of AC3 was a turn off. You spend most of the game talking about doing things, then do things nearly unrelated to get the simple location of the guy. Time skips left and right.

Yeah man, I spent all that time as some random guy, and by the time I got to be young Connor/Young Adult Connor I was burned out. The game didn't hook me and it ran like shit on the PS3. I just couldn't get into it.

I mean, it picks up a tiny bit, but some of the missions just feel horribly irrelevant. I feel like the idea is great, but the execution just didn't feel the same as a true Assassin's Creed game. They lost theirselves in the middle of making it or something. Although, it does feel like they spent a loot of time on the none-animus plot.

I think my biggest issue was how huge the game world was..... and not that that's a problem because AC4 is fuckhuge, but AC3 had all that wilderness and it was just boring as all hell. I remember running amongst the trees and shit just to get to a town and I was bored the whole damn time.

I found that an issue until I realized you can just fast travel using the map. Saved all the trips from Homestead to New York ect.

Good Morning all. Did I miss much?

AC3 was pretty bad compared to what we normally get from AC. It felt like Connor had no impact on anything.

That was partially the point, Connor didn't care to impact the revolution, only kill his father.
