Had a work buddy over and got to play some 2 player Neo-Geo. Played some Metal Slug, Nightmare in the Dark, and of course some Puzzle Bobble 2. I hadn't played my Neo in quite a while and he'd never played one. So we had a lot of fun.

Nah. Tetris 2 for the NES was more of a puzzle game and less about trying to rack up a high score (although that is there). It's kind of a combination of Dr. Mario and Tetris. There are three keystones, each a different colour, that you're trying to eliminate from the board. When you eliminate the green one it gets rid of all the other pre-determined green pieces, same for red, same for yellow. Once you've cleared the three keystones, you move onto the next round. 100 in all, I believe.
Some of the guys over at NA are attempting to finish every NES game within the year, so I figured I'd participate. Gives me a reason to play through some of these games.
Been playing for like, four hours. Just hit Lvl 50.
How did we put up with this shit when we were kids?
