If you are not sure about upload service links, either ask or just use Jdownloader to download through that will identify the correct file for you without even needing to look at the site.
The same for software installs, you can always ask first if you are not sure, but it is usually obvious what to click and will ask first if you want to install extra software that is not directly part of the software you are installing.
