Moved to the right section of the forums..

Without going into too many details, if you have any way to run backups in your PS2 console the answer is yes, any game tagged as PAL (contrary to NTSC) will work in your console.

Such is life. You'll have to create your own thread detailing what your problem is.

To play a burned game, you need a method for the hardware to be tricked into thinking what it is reading is an original disc not a burned disc

    The common method are

Mod chip, this is a microchip that is soldered directly inside the PS2 to various points, this is the best method if you can solder very well or know someone that can

Swap Magic Discs (You buy those) use these to boot the console (you do need to either use a slide card with the bulky model or have the flip censors blocked with a slim model) change the disc to the burned disc via one of the previously mentioned methods then start the game

Soft mod with FMCB (ESR or OPL)

ESR allows you to boot patched then burned PS2 DVD's directly
OPL allows you to boot PS2 games from USB, Network streaming from PC or internal HDD

the best soft mod method is FMCB + ESR
OPL is not a million miles away from that though, you can always use both methods
