Hm. I'm no CPU expert but that AMD six core should be fine. The 7850 should be roughly on the same level as my card, which is the GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB and can run current games well. However, for futureproofing purposes I'd get a card with 2GB VRAM, at least that's what smart people have been saying. I believe the 7850 comes in a 2GB model, no? Either that, or the noticably more powerful 7870 if your budget allows it. If not, 7850 2GB should be fine IMO.
Anyone else feels like Valve should make a Team Fortress 3 sometime? Either that or we set up a server for TF2 and play some good matches.

One of the main reasons to have multi-core processor in a laptop is that smaller wires and distributed processing decrease heat and power use. Power/speed are not the same as a large number of processor cores. That said, I wish I had my gaming PC.
