but I am enjoying me some Gundam AGE, almost finished it, very good show, none of that political shit like in other gundam shows.

I've been stalled on episode 22 of Legend of Galactic Heroes for over a year now. I don't even watch an episode a month like with Inuyasha.
Everybody raves about how great it is, but the pacing is glacial, it develops political arcs that have little immediate influence on the main plot, and the writing is BAD. Fucking BAAAAD!! The writers could have at least bothered to do a LITTLE research on politics and military history/tactics before writing a guy who comes up with primitive maneuvers as a "genius" and politicians so ignorant of politics they couldn't even survive a PTA board.

I didn't really care too much for the Gundam series I've seen yet either. Not ENOUGH politics, and too much mechs shooting at each other boringly.
