Default Gecko OS and Ocarina of Time

Is there a way to get Swordless Link without the glitch? I have Wii and getting that glitch to work on the Wii is trouble some for me. Also, I want to beat the horseback archery challenge but the controls are to sensitive. Is there any way to get Swordless link with Gecko OS?

It only works in the 1.0 version, the later versions (1.1, 1.2, GameCube, Virtual Console, 3DS) eliminated this glitch along with some other glitches, and 1.2 and onward changed the Fire Temple music due to it being an Islam prayer, Ganondorf's blood was recolored from red to green to avoid getting a T rating from ESRB, among other things.
