newb question (what Rev a or b tags in ROMs mean?)

Ive noticed that some of the game down loads have a (Rev a) or (rev b) next to them, i was wondering what that meant? should i download one of those instead of the one that doesnt have it next to it? whats the difference? ta in advance.

As far as I know, they're updated versions (new revisions) of said games.

In terms of which one you should download, it really depends on what you're looking for; revisions may have bug-fixes, new resources, cheat-code magic the developers worked in, and so on... stuff that worked in Rev.A may not work on Rev.B anymore...

Anyone else wanna add something?
