Try dosbox I guess.
I tried that do I need WinRAR to bring that up beucase when I downloaded dosbox it says there no program to open that up.....

Well, yeah...if you download an archive you'll need 7zip/winrar or whatever to extract it.

Ok first off - the fact that no one banned you already blows my mind. Do you think anyone here would lose any sleep over it?? Not bloody likely.
Secondly - it's no ones job to do a damn thing to help you. Some of us do so just to be nice and hopefully keep some people coming back and be a part of the community and in turn help others.

Now that that's out of the way let's go.

Now you mentioned files being zipped and why you didn't bother to unzip yourself is beyond me since you seem to know why, however just grab:
7zip you'll probably never need another compression program and it's completely free and trusted so get that.
Next you'll need Dosbox and if you don't want to bother with command lines and such then you'll want to grab one with a front end, I like this one personally as it's easy to set up and use - DBGL
Now it is a Sierra game and they've been known to have decent compatibility even with newer systems so you may want to try just installing and playing straight off the bat first.
Get started with those and then let us know how you're faring and we'll continue on.
