At least it's not a total wash.
Sweet, yet another free Vita game. Since they've given so many away for free there's almost no reason to buy them.

Yeah, I think Sony are just pushing for hardware sales at this point, not software.

Yeah, I agree. I'm glad that I've hardly purchased any Vita games, because almost all of them have been free at some point over the course of this last year. And now that the PS4 is out they're really trying to push the remote play feature to get more people on board.
I do wish all the games that are available on both PS3 and Vita were cross-buy/play... there's a few hold outs, namely the MGS collection, Dragon's Crown (I think that's been remedied now) and the upcoming FFX-X-2 ports.

Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed springs to mind.

I also believe the new WRC 4 isn't cross buy/play, exactly the same game/trophy list as the PS3 version, yet you need to play it twice!

Looks like we in the EU can already check out the PS4 PS+ games, Contrast is reverting back to £12 for me after I add it to my basket, but I've managed to add Resogun to my account

You aren't missing much with Contrast. The game barely plays, and the storyline is interesting at first but quickly devolves into push X box into Y location.

European IGC refresh for January will be announced this Friday.

I'm pretty sure Soul Sacrifice will be part of it :O

Should work for all PS+ games. I posted it in the other PSN thread a couple weeks ago when I first learned about it, so you don't miss out on all the free games just 'cause you don't have a PS4.

I've been playing through that right now. It can get annoying at times, but it's definitely a lot of fun. I'm still trying to get used to the controls -- it can be difficult switching between enemies on the Vita.

I'm sure I paid full price for Hotline Miami not so long ago, knowing fine well it would make its way into the EU IGC in 2014.

I just stick to the control sticks and aim with that, I'm not good at the tap target system. But yeah, it's super fun, even if it may be infuriating at times.

I've done that with a couple of games. Bought Borderlands 2: GOTY Edition with all the DLC a couple months ago when it came out for $60. It's free on PS+ right now -- I haven't even opened mine yet.

If you tap Square it'll autolock onto the guy nearest your cursor. It's not a perfect system and can be a bit fidgety, but if there's a stream of guys coming your way it seems to work fairly well. Otherwise... yeah, the tap targetting is a bit screwy. Works fine if you're trying to stealth your way through a level, but not so much when you're trying to get A+.

Yay, it's a good one for us EU'ers!

    Leaving PS Plus:
    24th December: Grid 2
24th December: Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen
24th December: Sonic and Allstars Racing Transformed
    8th January: Contrast
    Entering PS Plus:
24th December: DmC Devil May Cry
    24th December: Borderlands 2
    24th December: Soul Sacrifice
24th December: Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend
    8th January: Don’t Starve
    Source: http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013/...e/#more-160437

EDIT: I've already got SS and BB, but they're good games for people that don't!
Shame DmC probably won't link up with the retail version's save, as I'd really like to play through that again, but I don't want to play human mode again. I've already done it once.
