im playing tekken 5 on pcsx2 when the fight starts the game slows down and work fine on character select could you help me about that

I would hazard a guess that your system is just not good enough to emulate this game/system

As I have no details as to the system you are attempting to play this on I can't be sure your can or can not handle PS2 emulation and the run the game in question

But what you can try are the speed hacks, but be warned they can cause bugs in the games http://pcsx2.net/config-guide.html#SHack

Just bump them up a little at a time. Th VU one is the one that will cause more glitches so try out the EE one first. I might have that backwards-the slider on the left first.

Plus you could look into custom plugins like the gsdx"cutie" ones which are good for integrated graphics specifically intel ones but since you won't post your specs I can't help much there...
