Two Decade Old Mega Drive Supply Uncovered In Warehouse

The dream of many is to uncover a warehouse full of old video game stock from a time gone by. Although sounding too good to be true, many have been lucky enough to stumble upon such finds, leaving the rest of the retro gaming community to look on in awe with jealousy. The latest of these archaeological discoveries hails from Thailand where one fortunate classic gamer has secured several shipping boxes of untouched Mega Drive consoles and games. To think that there are undiscovered locations where consoles and accompanying software have laid dormant for several decades is just mind-boggling. If anything, these warehouse finds could answer many questions rarity hunters may have as to the whereabouts of notoriously rare video games - such as the Sega 32X's 'big three', Phantom Air Mission on the Nintendo NES and also the likes of Cool World on the Super Nintendo.
This recent find by a member of the Sega Galaxy Board has seen four Sega shipping boxes taken home containing 20 unused and unopened PAL-Asian Mega Drive II consoles along with multiple copies of 18 different 16-bit classics - including Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Streets of Rage 2. Luckily enough for us, this new owner of this buried treasure has made it clear that he doesn't have enough room or need for such vast quantities of Sega's past and has begun selling the spares online. Those interested in getting their hands on a pristine Sega Mega Drive II will need to set aside 70 Euros, whilst the majority of untouched games will set you back 10 Euros a piece.
Here's to hoping we'll be the next ones to find the video game equivalent of Atlantis!

Seems like it's doing quite well. Good for him, he seemed to work really hard to get it started.
