I've seen a few people say that too, but from what I've gathered they aren't huge AC fans plus they all played the basic version.
Which might possibly result in a "boring" verdict.
There's a bit of extra stuff (not a huge amount like Bethesda games, but also not just a few silly costumes and a couple of weapons).

I recommend you try the standard version a little and if you like it go grab the WE.

I could never do without Comcast out here. If I lived in Seattle, sure, but down here in Olympia, Comcast is the fastest game in town (25Meg for $60/month)

One month my bill is due on the 9th. The next month it might be the 20th or the 1st. There's no method to the madness. They do it to generate late fees. And they will flat out tell you "if you're not happy, leave".
