That problem should have been fixed with ePSXe 1.8.0, so 1.9.0 should be fine.

A few questions, are you using a disk such as CD-ROM (PS1 pressed media) or CD-R? If using CD-R what program are you using to burn the image? Most people use IMGBurn now a days.

Are you using a disk image from a HDD? I've used .bin files with .cue filesheets and these seem to be the best.

What graphics plugin are you using? On ePSXe I'd recommend Pete's OpenGL 2.9 and set everything to nice, as for the audio the interal plugin should be fine, however you could use Eternal SPU or P.E.O.Ps DSound Audio Driver 1.09a, haven't used the last one though but on ngemu they should have settings for that plugin.

P.S. Not sure if you've heard of Xebra but that emulator is said to be the closest to compatiblity and the native settings for the Playstation 1. I've resently started using that and can help ya if you want to use it.

Not sure about Duke Nukem, best bet would be to check psxdatacenter although OpenGL 2.9 should work. Its like a museum dedicated to Playstation 1 and now Playstation 2 http://www.psxdatacenter.com/ Or if your aiming for complete accuracy of the Playstation hardware Xebra is recommended. Said to have very high compatibility too and recently updated http://www.epforums.org/showthread.p...rsion-of-Xebra

As far as I know duke nukem total meltdown only works using Gpublade soft as the video plugin. Also works (but not as perfect) using gsdx as the video plugin.
