Question Retro game reviewer other than AVGN?

As the retro gaming world awaits for the AVGN movie to be released, we don't get that many AVGN episodes.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good retro game reviewers other than James Rolfe so I can watch that in between AVGN episodes.

I have no specific requirements as far as games go. Can be anything ranging from old 8-bit console games to not-so-old but forgotten PC games as long as the reviews are fun to watch and informative.

Looks like an interesting source of information.

As for the fun of it, well... I watched a few videos just now and it seems that this guy likes to go on and on about one thing in his reviews. But then again maybe it's just the ones I saw.

Anyway, I will check out what else he has out there. Thanks.

Oh yeah, that's the guy from AVGN's NES World Championship video.

Thank you for reminding me of him!

Kimble Justice is an underrated youtube review channel, if you want in-depth reviews, and aren't afraid of some incredibly sincere enthusiasm. (He's more James than Angry Nerd.) The Spoony Project is closer to the Nerd's style, but skips the random body functions and profanity to focus on the unintentional humor found in bad game design. He's both hardcore (check out his multi-part Ultima series review.) and able to take down sacred cows. (Especially if they're overrated Final Fantasy sequels.) I don't know whether you'd count it as a retro review, but his take down of Minority Report for the PS2 nearly qualifies as art.

Also, if you really want to get into retrogaming, check out Chrontendo. It's one man's attempt to play and review every single Famicom/NES game, in the order they were released...

The Retro Core volumes by Yakumo are my favorite. Many episodes are over an hour long focusing on Japanese games from various systems (lots of Sega )
