pokemon ranger won't load

i using nintendo ds DESMUNE 0.9.9. when i start my pokemon ranger: guardian sign everything was normal, until i save my game and then log out and when i start it again everything was gone. i tried to change with a few roms, i thought only the glitches. so i download another pokemon rangers guardian signs roms. i tried to save the game and then out "the save file is corrupted please start a new game" IT THE SAME!!! i tried with the original japanese game. it still the same. i wonder why? then i tried playing a another few games and everything was normal.i can save and can load.
i wonder is there anyone who knows how to solve this problem?

Manually set the save type to 256kb or Flash 2Mbit

I don't remember the exact setting so just play with it until it works

I do not need to do this myself as I just use my flash kit that detects the correct save type anyway

Sometimes Desmume can screw you over like that, I suggest trying a different emulator such as NO$GBA.

That's exactly why I don't use No$GBA. I hate having to tweak the save type for every game I play. At least desmume detects most of them.

Nothing against you ndsplayer but I think I will remove the last few posts

they don't help the OP asides from pointing out the obvious that you do need to set the save type

I am getting sick of seeing pointless posts in help threads that add nothing to what has been said already..

Speculation posting isn't bad if there is a follow up but giving advice with a clue is silly

I will do this later on though tonight...
