Dolphin Emulator, Black Screen?

Okay, so when i try to play my Harvest Moon Magical Melody Rom on my Dolphin 3.5-1559 Emulator, i get all audio, the logo's, but no real graphics, i can go through the beginning process (text bubbles show) where you create your name, pick your land, name your farm. But i get no graphics. I use a lot of emulators. I just can't figure this out, i've tried everything i know. (i'm no genius by any means) I have a Mac (which makes it all the harder for me, i prefer pcs) If anyone can help, pleasseeee. I'd be your bestfriend. And make you Sammichs If you need anymore information, i can get it

Try software mode for the graphics

I had this problem, and I could never find a solution. However when I re-sized the window everything fixed itself. I just have to do it each time I open the game.
