Problem in SEGA Dreamcast ROM

Hello, i have downloaded a dreamcast rom from here "Marvel vs. Capcom 2"
but it's in .cdi while it should be in iso/bin
i have googled it many times, searched but no results
i am kinda new in emulation
so please any help to convert from cdi to bin or iso

.cdi should work just choose file=>normal boot and select your game

Just put the .cdi file onto a CD-R disc if you have a Dreamcast Console connected to your TV, or just run it from the emulator. Does it matter if its a different file type?

The elf loading option is not for playing games, this is for homebrew testing and can not be used to play retail games or any disc image

If you are talking about NullDC you just hit File>Normal Boot (you are prompted to select the cdi or gdi there)

You do not use Open bin/elf or Load bin/elf to open disc images (bin files are not bin disc images but bin exec files as are the elf files exec files (exec = executable files like exe files for PC, the dreamcast uses bin or elf files, instead of *.exe))

converting a cdi to bin will just make the disc image so it can not boot
