    Default Final Fantasy 7 Issue

No matter where I go, every ISO I get of Final Fantasy 7 won't show the in-battle menus properly.

The area that SHOULD be a battle menu is a large black rectangle with a very small blue rectangle with nothing on it in the center.

Is this something to do with the ISOs, or the Emulator? (I'm using ePSXe)

if ePSXe is too much for ya give this emu a try , http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/

very simple and runs most PSX games perfectly (FF7 included)
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

This is so easy to fix as is ePSXe is to use

    Config>Video>Configure>

    Tick Special Fixes
Hit the ... button to the right of it
Tick the top box 0x00001: Adjust frame buffer access ONLY for FF7 battle cursor/battle Swirl
    Hit OK
    Hit OK
    Hit OK
Run the game your normal way

Pete's software plugin PEOpS Soft does not need any special fixes that is more for OpenGL/OpenGL2 and Direct 3D plugins

Hi Zorlon, I'm facing the same problem too, except that it's happening on FFVIII. During in-game battle, no menus are present. How do I fix this? Tried the FFVII method that you've highlighted and didn't work.

Also, didn't wanna open another thread for the same problem, although in different game =(
