d2x-v10-beta53-alt may also help with some loaders and Wii versions, this improves on the v8 version that will have anyway, can't say ut has ever done anything for me but I have a first release Wii that doesn't require anything above v8 final well not unless they add features I would use
You can install that via ModMii in fact it is recommended that you install it with ModMii to ensure it is installed correctly, d2x-cios-installer is another option to use but it may get a lil to complicated for you to use, ModMii is more automated
You need to do this correctly so no short cuts please the same would go for formatting drives ect as well when I say use something you really do need to go that way to avoid problems
