Prince of Persia [SNES] not working right

Hey, just downloaded Prince of Persia [European] for the SNES and am running it through SNES9X but it won't work.

It will play up to the start screen where you can select options or start the game but none of the buttons will start it. Up, down and Y (I think) will move the cursor and all the buttons make a noise when they are pressed. But none of them will start the game.

What can I do to get it working?

Never mind, reset the emulator and it's working now
