Sub-terrania ROM doesn't work

If the thread title is any indication, I'm having trouble getting Sub-terrania ROM's to work.

It starts out okay, but when I get a little past the title screen, it freezes up on me, with a black screen and a constant buzzing sound too. Weird thing is, I tried using the ROM from several different sites, and they all did the exact same thing.

I'm using the Genesis Plus emulator, on a Macbook Pro. It's played other games with no problems. Thanks in advance.

Recommend Kega Fusion instead, it is a fault with the emulator not the rom

No problem

On top of that I should of opened up a few more games that you can play now

Fusion is the only emulator to support CD-32X games, though there are only a few of those
