Red face Playing Movies on my PSP

I searched all over the boards and didn't find this info so hopefully I am not being redundant.

I cant figure out how to get movies I currently have in digital format to play on my PSP. What do I need to convert these files with? I've already tried PSP Video 9 and had no success. I used the PSP settings but every time I do this I get "unsupported data" error on the PSP.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If a tutorial on this already exists I would be happy to follow any link provided! I am running Pro CFW 6.60 on a PSP 3000 if that makes any difference.

where are you putting the video files?

anyway they need to be in

VIDEO folder on the root of the memstick not the VIDEO folder that is in the ISO folder that is for UMD Video disc images

Normally you get a MP4 plus a THM file

PSP>Video is not the correct folder, the Video folder should be on the root of the memstick not as sub folder inside the folder PSP

There are 2 other folders to try as well, though myself never had a reason to but also never used the converter you are using either

    MP_ROOT>100MNV01
    And
    MP_ROOT>101ANV01

    PSP>VIDEO should not exist

    VIDEO is the full path

If the video is not working in any of those I would look at another converter or change your converter settings

Ok it seems the converter I was using did not create THM files and I didn't realize they were needed. Now that I found one which does I've got it working. Thanks Zorlon.
