    Default Nintendo 64 Collection

I was thinking of collecting N64 Games, it seems alot more possible than most systems to make a complete collection. Anyone on here have a huge legit collection? I was also gonna work on listing all my games, systems, and accessories, so I was curious what everyone else has. Anyway here is my collection:

    Hardware:
    N64 NTSC-U/C Grey
    NUS-001 USA
    ACC Power Supply NUS-002
    Controller Pak NUS-004
    Jumper Pak NUS-008
    Expansion Pak NUS-007
    Rumble Pak NUS-013
    Cleaning Kit Deck Cleaner NUS-014

    Official Controllers:
    1 Black
    1 Clear Purple

    Games:
    Bomberman 64 USA
    Bomberman Hero USA
    F-Zero X USA
    Goldeneye 007 USA
    Jet force Gemini USA
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards USA
    Mischief Makers USA
Perfect Dark (With Box and Manual.) USA
    Pokemon Snap USA
    Star Wars Rogue Squadron USA
The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time USA
The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask USA
    Winback USA

You've got a long way to go if your aim is a complete collection but it's a great start! The games you do have are some of the best the system had to offer in my opinion. Especially 'Mischief Makers'

You've got a couple of solid titles there, for sure. N64 is also a great place to start for beginning collectors -- it has a relatively small library and there aren't that many "extremely rare" titles for it.

You might want to start by taking a look at the complete NTSC N64 library, to give you an idea how the task ahead looks. You currently own 12/296 US released titles (excluding major variants). A great resource for learning some of this would be to check out NintendoAge.com -- they have a very comprehensive and easy to use database that lists all or almost all games across all of the Nintendo platforms. The N64 one can be found here. That should also give you an idea of the rarity of some of the items -- that is something you should keep in mind while you are looking for more games, as some of the rare items don't come up that often.

Nintendo 64 is definitely the most accessible of all of the "retro" systems to start collecting, though. There are only one or two games that reach into the "somewhat pricey" bracket, and even the most expensive of those is still a helluva lot cheaper than what I've paid for some of my NES games.

As for people with large collections... there are a few of us here, but I don't know if anyone collects N64 games. I'll scoop up the occasional one here and there, but I'm mostly NES.

I have a small N64 collection but I'm more interested in playing than collecting so I go for loose carts unless it's something really special.

I will admit to being slightly proud of my mint boxed copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day though.

    You bastard.

Whenever I get around to collecting N64 games, I'm going to start with the expensive ones like CBFD, Clayfighters Sculptor's Cut and Starcraft 64, just to get them out of the way. Then I just have to wait for good prices on the more common ones.

This is my plan. I probably will not stick to it.

Honestly I'd be more inclined to wait on the expensive ones. Most of them really aren't that rare and do come around for more sensible prices if you're patient. Conker was roughly the same price as a cart only copy.

    There's a sales thread on NeoGeo.com forum for a sealed Conker's for $200+ shipping.

thanks for all the feedback, I don't think I'll realistically collect a full complete n64 collection, since we ll know the boxes are pretty much all gone, and most manuals discarded.

I have most of the big name carts, but also a V64 and Everdrive 64 which can play more or less every game. Some require patching, but the vast majority run without patching.

I wanted to get those as well, sadly my current budget does not allow to get a Everdrive 64, if ones available, also I have no idea where to get a V64

The V64 comes up on eBay now and again. So do other old backup units such as the CD64 and Z64. There value has taken a slight hit since the release of cart based backup units like the 64drive and ED64.

Wish I could have them all, even if that is redundant.

you got me on that one when u said manuals discarded. Mine were ripped, torn, destroyed, and thrown away along with the boxes.
