Mario Kart DD not running on Dolphin! Please help!

I'm trying to run Mario Kart: Double Dash on Dolphin Emulator (Version 3.5 which is the latest) but it won't run. It goes past the Nintendo and Dolby Digital logos and then the guy on the cloud does his thing but it won't go past that! The screen just turns black after that and nothing happens. I have to just close the emulation. I'm pretty sure my build is not the issue, my components are all very fast.

Please advise.

It's the intro video; it goes black there on the stable 3.5.

If you have 3.5-644, you need to enable "Accurate VBeam Emulation", to do so right click on the game (after browsing for the folder) and tick the box for the option.
