I would imagine it's a similar feeling to when I hear people refer to hockey as "ice hockey." Yes, I'm aware that field hockey exists, but "ice hockey" sounds redundant. It's just "hockey." Or I'll beat you.

On that note... Red Wings are beating my Oilers pretty handedly right now. This makes me sad, and I may have to consume another beer to be able to accept this loss. There's still about four minutes left in the third, though... we could totally pull through.

At least ice hockey is a right way to designate it since it's actually played on ice. Improper football, on the other hand..

And off to sleep I go. Gnight, Drag, Jazz.

Whelp, opened up a dispute with this seller on eBay about the Dragon Warrior games that I bought. Hopefully I get my money back.

That sucks. I'm sure you will because eBay is good like that, but ti still sucks to miss out on a deal.

It was a fantastic deal. At first I thought he was just making shit up when he said that a lot of his documents and whatnot were lost in a fire, but then I scoured the item listing even more closely and managed to Google search some info, and yup... his hobby store burned down in a fire the day after the auction ended (Jan 26). So that does kind of suck for him, I suppose.

Who knows? Either they burned up, they never got shipped during the confusion, or they're still in transit and he can't find the tracking information and for some reason it's taking more than 40 days to get here.

I'm going with one of the first two.

My thoughts exactly. He has over 48K feedback and a 99.9% rating, though, so I was willing to trust it when I didn't see any tracking information even though the description said there would be one. Now, I'm fairly certain that they never shipped at all and he didn't get the price that he wanted.

I'm not poor, but I should stop haemorrhaging money sometime soon and start actually saving some again.

I didn't get the price I wanted for some of my sales; they all got tracking information too.
