There were several robberies in my town this past week. All violent and aimed toward small liquor stores.

It always amazes me how some people will get so violent over so little money. Beat the living crap out of some poor schlep for a couple hundred bucks. Sad. But then, maybe I've never been "that" poor. Or never had a habit to feed.

We've never had this before...We had a shooting a month or so ago, but that wasn't major. No one killed. Except the gunman who killed himself. But still, kinda odd. And looking at the picture of the guys who they caught on camera I feel like I know them...

Last week a rapist was shot dead. Luckily his victim escaped prior to the incident....just outside the student activity center here on campus. Yay Michigan.
