For me, my younger brother had borrowed a computer club Sinclair Spectrum and a handful of games back in 1982. Among them was Manic miner, horace goes skiing and horace and the spiders. On the basis of those three games I had to have a spectrum. a few weeks later I had a second hand spectrum with Jetpac and manic miner included. I was hooked
My brothers had an NES, SNES, and a Genesis, and I played them a bunch.
Duck Hunt, F-Zero, and Sonic 2 were probably my favorite games back then and almost certainly why I'm into gaming.
I watched my family play. It was a way to bond with my father.

Lived in a seaside town and arcades were part of life from an early start
it has to be Super Mario Bros. for the NES that got me started and Street Fighter II is what really solidified my love for videogames.
I follow the same way as my brother With our so loved Super Nintendo!

A famiclone with preinstalled games (the infamous "9999999999 in 1").
The true first game to play with it was SMB.
