i prefer physical copies that way if someone steals your device you still have your games, and you're only out hundreds instead of thousands of dollars.

I prefer digital. The booklet and case just feel like clutter to me. Might read them once when I first get the game then it gets thrown in a corner never to be seen again.

I prefer physical whenever possible for consoles. Digital for PC, since physical releases are always tied to some online account anyways.

It's nice to know that 20 years from now, long after the online stores of the current gen are all shut down, that I'll still be able to dust off a 3DS or 360 game and play it.

I love physical copies of games, just to satisfy that reptilian part of my brain that wants to hold things that I own. But as soon as Steam was out I was all on bored the digital bandwagon. Its just so much easier.

    Physical for nostalgia.

    Digital for practicality.

I like digital copies since it is more convenient, so I do not need to change discs very often.

depends, some digital copies have some kind of advantage over a physical copy for example ps3 minecraft digital can be downloaded free on ps vita because it have crossover. physical copy does not.

Physical copy, then turn it into a digital copy, then back up the digital copy you can never have to many.

Digital Copy. When I look at steam, I have over 100 games. Now if I had that many games as physical copies, I wouldn't know where to store them. Plus I don't have to be careful about the CDs/DVDs; if I want to Install I can just download it anytime I want which is no problem with my 15 MB/s connection.

Digital is better... except for when reality - namely, a slow internet connection - cuts in and makes it a pain. It's better than it was 5 years ago, but still not good enough!

Ironically, reality's also the annoying part of physical copies too. But it's harder to lose a disc than an internet connection.
