I like both, the physical ones for the collection and for playing. The physical ones because you can store so many games just in your pocket on several handheld consoles.

Here is my rundown. The benefit of owning physical copy is it can have a longevity of the game's function to play whenever and wherever you like to. The downside is if the disc is scratched, then the chance of the game working is low.

The benefit of digital is it is quick and easy to access the copy, then download it to your machine at ease. The downside is if the game's store page gest taken down, and other websites do not sell them anymore, then it is gone in oblivious forever

Physical is the only way that gives you real ownership and control for a game - except it has to be offline physical. Games being handcuffed to online services is the biggest threat to consumer rights at this moment (you can get banned for BS reasons, and inevitably every such service will be shut down).

Physical, unless I can get DRM-free versions (THANK YOU GOG!). I rarely play games that I cannot enjoy as a solo player.

Physical all the way, with the exception of DRM free digital downloads.

I understand the negative implications (publisher/platform control for availability and content), but digital gaming is simply too obvious. And with a Series S, I can't imagine Quick Resume would be very convenient with discs. Although I do always keep my old physical copies.

Physical because it can be a conversation piece of the shelf and also not tied to someone else's servers or a system that may eventually break.
