Default Gran Turismo 4 iso wont work on PCSX2 0.9.8

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Downloaded Gran Turismo 4 from Emuparadise and PCSX2 0.9.8 both today for first time, also downloaded a pack of the PS2 bios. The system starts working, shows the screen with the disclaimer/warnings, then fades to black and that's it. Here's the log:

Hello there, have you tried the latest version of the emulator yet? if not, I suggest you to try it first, and run it at default configurations.

Tested it, and seems to run fine at my end, using my own copy.

Try running it with fast boot option, use different GSdx version(SSE2, SSSE3, SSE41) and enable the automatic gamefixes(if it was disabled). Might as well try the latest SVN.
If that doesn't work, I suggest to download another copy.

Default Sound and Game Menu work, driving causes multi-colored squares all over screen.

I got another copy and it makes it passed the beggining credits, then in gran turismo mode i try to test drive a car or race or anything and the speedometer is the only recognizable thing on the screen. the sound works and i can press start to exit the race, but thats about it the screen is a mess of colored squares. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks for helping me get this far.

Are you using the 1.0.0 version? or the 1.1.0 SVN version? On default settings?
Which graphic plugins did you use? and post the settings in a screenshot.

I have no issues with the graphic an so on, everything seems to runs normal on every modes.

The emulator is using the old set of plugins(r4600), change your plugins path to the latest one, which should be located in the 1.0.0 directory.

Set it to r5350 version, especially for the graphic plugin, and then run with D3D10/11 Hardware, and make sure Native box is ticked.
