Never. Plus I'm a PC gamer so I don't really have controllers.

I remember once I found an old NES in my house that we used to use, complete with a Super Mario and 2 controllers. Anyway, I brought it inside, turned it on, started playing it for a while and quickly got hit with how damn frustrating that game was to new or inexperienced Mario players. I think it was world 3 -2 or something that I got hit by the same dude 5 times in a row, I pre much raged and threw the controller at something and left. Came back later when I was calmed down and everything was still working, so I hadn't broken anything. Just thought I'd share that with you all lol

I often threw tantrums as a kid, and the NES controller saw considerable airtime. It wasn't the controller that broke though.

Never did. Although I really went mad some times, I didn't bring myself to this point, probably because I didn't want to have to buy a new controller.

Never broken one completely, but tried my hardest when I lost some 50k souls on a retrieval run at the end of a length Dark Souls session. It seemed like a lot at the time...

Yes, an Atari controller after screwing up during a personal high-score attempt playing Ms. Pac Man.

I broke a lot of things, but no controllers, when I was young. It was like this: when I found myself frustrated enough, I put down the controller, took something else in my hand and broke it.
