I don't think I've broken anything in frustration before. I must have a good temper, or gonna snap one day.

Not a controller, but definitely some cartridges. I would beat the hell out of those things. One of the benefits of the game cartridge was that you could pull it out of the machine (which hurt the machine and made it cry) and chunk that thing across the room. That really showed it. Then you put in back in the machine and, now that the game knows better, you can have fun and the enemies or whatever won't cheat as much.

Only as a child with the NES controllers, but my elder brother and I learned a harsh lesson from it as we were a little poor and couldn't afford to buy any more controllers afterwards. Needless to say, we learned to take care of our videogames like adults since the Snes.

nah. you have to behave like a prepubescent child to actually physically express your rage while playing videogames. i usually just feel frustrated and angry, but dont act recklessly.

I've broken a ps2 controller over FFX-2. I was getting pissed because I was stuck in one area with a crazy high encounter rate. It seemed like I was getting in a fight every 5 steps. Ended up chucking my controller at a wall. Also, not quite a controller but I have broken a few mice in Diablo & Diablo 2. All that clicking >.<
