Agreed. As much as I enjoy collecting, I feel like there's a general sense of elitism in certain forums that I just want to avoid. NA doesn't seem that bad, but I just can't bring myself to attempt to integrate into yet another board.

I really do want to get up to 200 unique titles by my birthday. I think once everything I just bought arrives, I'll be at ~160. So it's definitely doable, as long as I push myself. Shouldn't be a problem.

Are those the blik Mega Man decals? I really wanted to buy those, but I generally didn't like the sprites from MM1, which is the main reason I haven't grabbed them yet. If there were MM2 or MM3 sheets I would buy them in a heartbeat. I have the SMB1 decals in my bedroom and they look awesome.

Yeah, NintendoAge isn't really too bad with elitism. They treat newbies pretty well, as long as you're not a total moron. Neo-Geo.com on the other hand. Their forum motto is "Come for the Games, Stay for teh Drama". There's some real elitist assholes there, even on their staff. Although I personally have never had any negative experiences there either. They can just be really harsh on newbies.

I'm really wanting to aim towards reaching the 300 mark by around tax time. Although that will be all cart-only stuff mainly. My roommate and I have been talking about decking the living room out with some arcade cabs though. Which I'm all about having a min-arcade in our living room. So I guess I'll just have to see how much I get back on my tax return this year.

They've always seemed very friendly. And I've used their site as a resource so many times when researching obscure Nintendo stuff or compiling lists or looking up variant information that I'm starting to get comfortable there. I just haven't broken my cherry buying from any of their members yet.

I think I remember being linked to a thread about one of the many, many dramafests that have occurred at Neo-Geo. I can't for the life of me remember what it was about, but the "come for the games, stay for the drama" motto brought some of it back. Might have been linked there from Reddit or something.

Actually I'll be getting another one from my dad along with a cart-only Dragon Quest and another original Playstation.

I got the black one from Wal-Mart for Christmas. First one I got was broken, so I had to take it back. This one part of the top board is broken too I found out today. It's not anything structural though, so I'm not too worried about it.

The master System i got a couple years ago from a former co-worker. I soft-modded his XBOX and he traded me a SMS w/all hookups, 2 controllers and After Burner. Pretty damn good trade if you ask me.
