No Sound in Cutscenes for ePSXe 1.8

Hi, I'm running ePSXe on my computer and I'm currently getting no sound AT ALL on any cutscenes. I have a quad-core apu (AMD A-10), 6 gb of ram, the apu has an AMD Radeon 7660g in it, and my computer is powerful enough to run most any emulator (I get VERY FEW framerate issues on PS2 and GameCube emu's, yet again, VERY RARE). I've already downloaded all of the recommended sound plugins, tried EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM, and I STILL do not hear anything. Also, I DID enable XA sound and whatnot... PLEASE HELP, I WANNA EXPERIENCE ALL THE GLORIOUS CUTSCENES THE PS1 HAD TO OFFER IN IT'S GAMES!!!!

A few questions:
- What game are you trying to run?
- What plugins are you using?
- Did you try to follow the epsxe guide in the PSX Datacenter?
- Did you try with the configuration posted in the PSX Datacenter entry of that game?
